Provides free developmental screening for children under the age of five who reside in Waukegan. Offers a free pre-school program for children under the age of three who qualify based on screening. Provides law enforcement and emergency services within the Village of Round Lake. Works with the community to promote safety, reduce crime, and preserve peace.

Offers financial aid to help Township residents prevent loss of home, job, or utilities. Funds are available once every two years and provide help to meet basic needs, including:

• Preventing eviction or past due rent/mortgage
• Preventing utility disconnection
• Work-related expense necessary to getting or keeping a job (for example, uniform or licensing fees)
• Cost of prescription medication

Amount of assistance determined on a case-by-case basis. Program does not disburse cash as all funds will be paid directly to vendors.

Free summer school program for children entering kindergarten in the Beach Park School District. Allows students to practice following directions and learn key skills. Program runs for three weeks during the summer and is taught by licensed teachers.

Offers end-of-life care for patients with terminal or life-limiting illness. Offers the following services for in-home or in-facility care:

• Medication management
• Case management and medical social work
• Physical, occupational, and speech therapy

Provides services to low-income veterans and their families who are at imminent risk of becoming homeless. Supportive services include:

• Housing stabilization
• Temporary financial assistance (including rent, security deposit, utilities and car repairs; based on eligibility)

Offers a community center for seniors to sign up for classes, trips, events, and support groups. Provides information and referrals for social services including transportation, counseling, and legal aid. Offers application assistance for the following:

• Low-income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
• SNAP
• Medicare and SSI
• Prescription drug discount programs
• Illinois Benefit Access Program
• Secretary of State programs (driver's license, Real ID, and car registration)

Provides counseling services to individuals, couples, and families. Services include:
