The Puerto Rican Cultural Center - Humboldt Park Employment Youth Program teaches job skills to individuals to support employment; this includes resume building and job search assistance. They provide youth with 12 weeks of paid work experience, supplemented by weekly work-readiness courses that teach them critical workplace skills and prepare them for entry into the professional world.

Mediation is a voluntary process in which two or more parties involved in a dispute work with an impartial party, the mediator, to generate their own solutions in settling their conflict. Unlike a judge or an arbitrator whose decisions subject one party to win and the other party to lose, mediation is about finding a solution that works for both parties. Services are available online or in-person.

The Better Birth Outcomes (BBO) program is a prenatal education and support program that helps women achieve healthy pregnancies and healthy babies. This free program provides prenatal health education, linkage to and coordination of care with primary and specialty medical care and other social services, referrals to free childbirth education and parenting classes, access to contraceptive services, and overall care coordination for pregnant women with risk factors that lead to poor birth outcomes.
