Wound and Hyperbaric Center: Aiding in the treatment of chronic non-healing wounds, services include bio-engineered skin substitutes, biological and bio-synthetics, comprehensive wound assessment, compression therapy, excisional and selective debridement, hyperbaric medicine, intravenous infusion services, negative pressure therapy, skin perfusion pressure and pulse volume recording diagnostics, transcutaneous oxygen measurement, wound photography and electronic documentation, wound care consultation by specially trained clinicians and staff.

Responsible for the control and extinction of fires in urban or wilderness areas.

Provides services, advocacy and information/referral to older adults and their caregivers.

Our current program year ended August 15, 2025. LIHEAP: Beginning October 1, 2025, the following households may apply for assistance:

• With at least one member 60 years of age and older
• With at least one disabled household member
• Services are disconnected or have date to be disconnected from their electric/gas service
• With at least one child 5 years of age and younger

• General public can apply for assistance starting November 1, 2025. The program will be available through August 15, 2026, or until funds are depleted (whichever comes first).

Places stray and homeless pets with people who are willing to provide for their care.

Illinois Home Weatherization Assistance Program (IHWAP): Provides weatherization to eligible low-income consumers to assist them in lowering home energy costs.

Food Stamps/SNAP: Receives applications for Link Card which helps low-income individuals and families buy food.

Provides pet food to eligible pet owners when available.

Accepts donated cleaning supplies.

Provides free Narcan kits.

Provides information on leukemia and lymphoma, Hodgkin's, myeloma, and other blood cancers, including educational booklets, referrals to local chapters, support groups, newsletter, and financial assistance to blood cancer patients.

Provides a full eye exam.

Provides civic centers.

Retirement community offering independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, memory care, long term care and rehabilitation.

Provides family counseling services to address issues that may occur in a family, may include but not limited to, trauma, sexual abuse recovery, depression, anxiety, grief, anger management, divorce, etc.

Provide HUD housing service for senior citizens while promoting affordable housing, social and health services.

Provides flu vaccinations to infants, toddlers, children and adolescents.

Provides cash assistance and medical assistance to persons who are aged, blind or disabled.

Offers sports physicals to those participating in sports activities.

Recovery housing has four levels of care, of which OLPH will provide a level 2 monitored recovery residence. This means we have a house manager on site, peer run groups, regular drug screenings, house meetings, and all are involved in self-help and/or treatment services.

Accepts donations of wheelchairs.

Respite Services: Temporary care for children with disabilities to relieve stress to families. Respite services may be provided for vacation, rest, errands, family crisis or emergency.
