Through events such as spa days, sunset boat cruises, wine and mocktail tastings, karaoke nights, vision board parties, and recognition celebrations, the program focuses on community, wellness, networking, and personal growth. Many of these events are designed and led by women veterans themselves, helping foster a welcoming environment where women veterans can share stories, build confidence, and strengthen their support network. Although women veterans make up a small percentage of the overall veteran population, they represent a significant and growing part of the Chicago Veterans community.
