Assistance may include accompaniment to appointments, benefit applications, behavioral health screening and referrals, medication assistance and more. The LTC program works with clients who are newly diagnosed with HIV (within the last 90 days) or those clients who have fallen out of care.

The City of Chicago Office of the City Clerk is responsible for the issuance of official City of Chicago business licenses. However, the Office of the City Clerk does not have any additional role in the licensing process, such as application review or the acceptance of payment. Our Office can print and issue hard copies of licenses already approved by the City's Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection.

If your child has difficulty with any of these specific communication categories, it may look like this:Speech sounds: Producing sounds incorrectly or being difficult to understand.Language: Difficulty understanding spoken/written language and demonstrating difficulties with grammar, the meaning of words, and pragmatics.Stuttering: Repeating sounds/words or pausing while trying to communicate.Social Skills: Difficulty communicating with same-aged peers and understanding how others may think/feel. Benefits are provided on the Illinois Link Card, an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card that is accepted at most grocery stores.Additionally, IDHS offers the SNAP Employment & Training Job Placement program for those not exempt from SNAP work requirements such as Able-Bodied Adults Without Dependents (ABAWD). Work eligible SNAP recipients can obtain intensive case management, education such as reading and writing and math instruction or enrollment in GED or ESL classes, job skills training like computer literacy, pre-employment services like career mentoring, and unsubsidized job placement with retention services.
