City of Chicago's select ward offices will act as an SBA Disaster Loan Outreach Center to support residents in accessing U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) assistance. The SBA disaster declaration will allow homeowners, renters, businesses, and certain nonprofit organizations in Cook County and across northeastern Illinois to apply for low-interest disaster loans to support recovery efforts. This includes loans of up to $500,000 for real estate repairs, up to $100,000 for personal property and up to $2 million for businesses for physical damages. Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDLs) are also available to eligible small businesses and nonprofits experiencing financial losses as a result of the storms. CJE SeniorLife Counseling Services is staffed by a team of Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) who are specialists in mental health services for seniors. Services are available on telehealth with a video connection, in offices, and some limited home visits.

Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) administers the Aid to the Aged, Blind, and Disabled (AABD) program which provides cash assistance to elderly and disabled residents of Illinois.

Chicago Public Library locations act as a cooling center free to the public during periods of extreme heat. Locations also have water fountains available.

Chicago Public Library hosts City of Chicago EZ Pay Stations where residents can pay bills related to Administration Notice of Ordinance Violations, parking/speeding/red-light tickets, permits and taxes, and utilities. EZ Pay Stations are self-service only. CPL does not support or maintain EZ Pay Stations.

The Children's Advocacy Center of North & Northwest Cook County's Safe from the Start (SFTS) program works with families who have experienced abuse to help each member on their path toward healing in a safe, therapeutic setting. Therapy is offered to children birth - 5 years old who have witnessed domestic abuse. These services are free of charge and offered in English and Spanish.

Chicago Park District offers a 6-week long summer day camp where youth can engage in sports, arts, fitness, and outdoor activities. Ideas of civic engagement, environmental awareness, inclusion, collaboration & team building, brain play, reflection & journaling, and friendship & kindness are woven into the camp experience.
