Services can include companionship and conversation, assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming, light meal prep and feeding help, light housekeeping and laundry, medication reminders, transportation to appointments and errands, grocery shopping, and respite care for family caregivers.
Medical advocates respond to the hospital when a patient is victim of sexual assault to provide emotional support, clothing, and information regarding hospital procedures. Advocates help educate the victim about their options for hospital procedures and pressing charges. The advocate serves as a liaison between the victim, the police, and ER personnel. Advocates and staff respond to hospital calls 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Legal advocates provide guidance and support for victims of sexual assault and abuse as they go through the legal system. As a victim of a violent crime in Illinois, they are entitled to advocacy services. The legal advocate also works closely with the State's Attorney's Office and is available to help with questions relating to court and provide emotional support.

Examples of common improvements include sealing cracks, insulating attics, or repairing windows and doors. All improvements are completed at no cost to the homeowner.
Additional priority is given to households with elderly, disabled, and young children.
Provides immigration legal assistance to the indigent and to low-income immigrants. Assists some US citizens who need immigration counseling and help with the preparation of a variety of petitions including applications for citizenship. Some services available are, consultation about immigration legal matters, referrals to immigration attorneys and other organizations in cases out of the scope of these services, assists in the preparation of family petitions, legal residency (Green cards) and immigration visas, and assists in the preparation of applications for temporary benefits like DACA, Temporary Protected Status (TPS), Parole in- Place and the employment authorizations associated with those benefits.
