The University of Chicago Medicine - Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience - Courage to Quit offers a program which helps individuals quit smoking. The program offers group counseling to help participants learn how to manage cravings, cope with triggers, and learn relapse prevention and stress reduction skills. Individual counseling is also available for participants who require more assistance.

UI Health - Outpatient Care Center - Tobacco Treatment Center provides support to help people discontinue tobacco use.

PCC Community Wellness Center operates a number of Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) that provide treatment for adults dealing with addiction through the Assisted Recovery Care (ARC) program. They help patients address addiction issues ranging from opioid use to alcohol and cigarettes in a caring and compassionate environment. Seven week eight session Smoking Cessation Program available to everyone. Free one-on-one Freedom from Smoking programs are also available and additional group classes will also be offered free of charge.

The Illinois Tobacco Quitline program

Courage to Quit® is an evidence-based tobacco treatment program for adults and the cessation component of the Respiratory Health Association's integrated tobacco intervention. After completing the program, participants report higher-than-average reduction in cigarette use, quit attempts, and quit rates.
