Way Back Inn offers residential extended care for substance and gambling use disorders, as well as co-occurring disorders. Residential extended care (ERC) is a highly structured, long-term therapeutic living environment for individuals to grow and nurture their new life in recovery. Individuals struggling with substance use disorders have often lost or lacked structure in their lives. One of the functions of Way Back Inn is to revitalize and instill renewed productive living habits and daily life functions (cleaning one's room, making one's bed, keeping the house tidy, self-care, etc.). The aim of the program is to lay the foundation for a lasting recovery, including maintaining one's overall health, family relationships, and social relationships. For the duration of the ERC program, each participant lives in one of their Extended Residential Care homes or Recovery Homes from 90 days to one year, depending on one's unique story and treatment plan.

Little City offers a variety of living options for both children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Their focus is on providing safe and nurturing environments for residents to learn, grow, and thrive. The residential facilities are staffed with highly trained Direct Support Professionals and managers who are experienced in caring for those with I/DD and understand the full spectrum of services, care, and compassion required depending on the individual's need level.

Riveredge Hospital provides comprehensive diagnostic and mental and behavioral health treatment services for children ages 3 through 12 and adolescents ages 13 through 17. Specific offerings include inpatient programs, outpatient programs, and child and adolescent partial hospitalization program (PHP).

Our Child and Family Treatment Center (CFTC) provides residential treatment intervention for youth experiencing extreme emotional challenges. The CFTC treatment teams use a multi-faceted, trauma-informed approach to help youth needing extra support find emotional balance, develop coping skills for tough times, and learn how to form healthy relationships.

Their experienced team of professionals, led by a board-certified adult psychiatrist and a highly trained psychologist, will help reduce symptoms and provide the tools to succeed for children, teens, and adults. Their evidence-based therapy for these services includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT); behavioral activation(BA); dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)-informed skills; medication management; and individual, group, and family sessions.

Residential treatment for adults with anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder or addictions.

Residential program offering individual counseling, group counseling, recreational and wellness activities for those who are struggling with emotional or behavioral issues, or struggling with alcohol/drug use related mental health issues.

Provides comprehensive treatment services for adults with severe emotional difficulties. Offers the following three levels of care based on the individual needs of the client:

• Case management

• Shared Apartment Program - supported, transitional living

• Community Integrated Living Arrangements (CILA) - supervised, supportive living for individuals who have had at least three hospitalizations in a state-operated facility

Provides a rehabilitation program for veterans with mental illness, addictive disorders, or homelessness. Offers an 18-bed residential treatment facility that provides peer and professional support. Services include:

• Ongoing assessments and evaluations
• Personal finance assistance
• Case management to assist with securing stable housing in the community
• Life skills education and training
• Transportation to weekly recovery meetings in the community
• Weekly peer recovery, music therapy, and recreation groups
• Referrals to individual therapy and specialized group therapy
• Monthly meetings with nurse to develop and increase medication management skills
• Learning new stress reduction skills to promote problem-solving skills

Also offers the Compensated Work Therapy Program to develop and increase vocational skills.

Provides short-term residential care for youth with severe emotional and behavioral issues. Services include:

• Housing

• Counseling
• Employment

Provides psychiatric residential level care for children with eligible mental health or behavioral disorders. Also offers care coordination and other areas of support.

Caritas Youth Therapeutic Treatment Center provides a temporary residential home and therapy for children to heal from the trauma of serious abuse and/or neglect or have an emotional condition that is too severe for them to succeed at home or a foster home. Caritas Youth Emergency Shelter provides a shelter for youth involved with ILDCFS (Illinois Department of Children and Family Services) who have no current housing options. Caritas Community Youth Shelter provides a shelter for youth involved with ILDHS (Illinois Department of Human Services) who are unable to return home.
