Explore Program: This externship program has been developed to expose, empower, and encourage students of color to pursue STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) and other careers.

Curriculum addresses all aspects of girls' development such as emotional, social, mental and physical well-being. Programs combine training for a 5K (3.1 mile) running event with self-esteem enhancing, uplifting workouts.

Imagine Englewood if... (IEi) offers Imagination Explorers is an enrichment program that provides children (ages 6-12) a safe space to belong, explore, and grow after school. They aim to spark a love of learning through academic support and fun enrichment that prepares participants for their personal and professional growth. Participants also engage in daily themed activities that include STEAM, environmental awareness, and healthy living.

BUILD Enrichment services offer a diverse range of in-person and virtual opportunities to explore interests and develop talents: music, art, athletics, podcasting, entrepreneurship, gardening, tech, and more. They engage young people with creative activities to discover new passions, strengthen healthy minds and bodies, and unlock potential. Scholarships, workplace training, and academic support help youth succeed in high school, prepare for college, and continue through graduation.

Arab American Family Services (AAFS) currently facilitates youth empowerment programs designed to empower Arab and Muslim youth. Youth programs include tutoring, a youth employment program, college prep (SAT/ACT), and art classes.

AeroStar Avion Institute offers Aerosparks, a session designed to expose young children in grades K -8 to aviation and aerospace through age-appropriate activities, stories, movies, and field trips. They will also learn the anatomy of an aircraft, the history of aviation, aviation safety, and space exploration. Sessions occur on one Saturday per quarter.

AeroStar Avion Institute offers Aviation Exploration, a program where students learn how to operate remote-controlled helicopters and airplanes, fly flight simulators, build and launch rockets, and even airport planning and design. They will also learn the anatomy of an aircraft, the history of aviation, aviation safety, and space exploration.

TechGYRLS is a youth empowerment program designed to raise girls' interest & confidence in the critical areas of science, technology, engineering, arts & mathematics (STEAM). The TechGYRLS Program will help young girls develop 21st Century skills like creativity, collaboration, communication and critical thinking/ problem-solving skill that they can use in any profession they pursue. The program offers students a safe, supportive, girls-only environment for exploration and learning using hands-on inquiry-based curriculum comprised of various fun science content.

Girls in the Game provides opportunities for teens from across the city to earn scholarship money, support and coach younger participants, develop leadership skills, connect with other teens, and choose their own schedule. Teen Squad is an application-based program with limited spots; once accepted, teens go through their coach training to practice their coaching skills. Other activities throughout the school year include field trips, interviews with local business leaders, professional and personal development workshops, and other activities.

Gads Hill Building Leaders is a free, out-of-school-time enrichment program for students ages 13 to 18. The program provides highly individualized academic support to help teens graduate from high school and enter college prepared to succeed.
