The groups offer structured activities that promote social and emotional learning in a safe environment. Transportation is provided to and from the agency to increase accessibility for children and families to participate. Summer Programs include outings to nearby locations, such as local parks, pools, and recreational centers.

Participants also engage in daily themed activities that include STEAM, environmental awareness, and healthy living.

Breakthrough Urban Ministries' Nettie Bailey Students Achievement Program (NBSAP) is an after-school program for students in K-8. Students engage in tutoring, homework help, social-emotional learning, and well-rounded offerings in the arts, science, and sports. These opportunities provide holistic academic enrichment and positive youth development and prepare students for success in high school and beyond. During the summer, NBSAP offers full-day enrichment and youth development activities.

Give Respect, Get Respect: This youth program is a collaboration between Diversity Awareness Partnership and local corporations who bring together students and teachers from the St. Louis metro area and company associates to explore race, religion, disability, sexual orientation and gender identity.
