Renacer Latino, Inc. provides classes to help parents and caregivers improve and learn parenting skills based in cultural beliefs and problem solving skills.

HOPE Family Services Program offers a variety of services in English and Spanish languages, including individual and group counseling, couples' therapy, and support groups for men, women, and children with culturally-proficient social workers.

The Circle Resource Center specializes in serving women from lower socioeconomic groups. The center offers women a number of resources, including psychotherapy in English and in Spanish and a variety of workshops and programming to enrich the women's lives, provide education, social opportunities, and fun for the community.

Centro de Información provides parenting classes in both English and Spanish. These courses are made up of nine, two-hour classes which meet once a week over a nine-week period. Throughout the course, parents have opportunities to seek advice, share concerns, and relate to other parents. Attendees will receive small assignments to do at home and will be required to pass a final exam in order to complete the course.If parents have been referred by the Department of Children and Families Services (DCFS), the instructor will make up to four home visits during the nine weeks of the course. If parents have been referred by the court or a private agency, the cost will be based on the agency and court requirements.

Polish American Association's (PAA) parenting classes are designed for parents to increase their knowledge of child development and enhance skills to discipline, communicate, reduce stress, and improve self-care. The program offers a variety of activities, including lectures, video materials, handouts, quizzes, group discussions, in-class exercises, and homework assignments. The program consists of intake and five 1.5-hour sessions. Services are offered through individual and group sessions.

With this in mind, El Valor offers parents avariety of enrichment opportunitiesincluding certification classes, first aid, parenting seminars, and family support groups. Parents will developleadership, decision making, and family advocacy skills.

Angel of God Resource Center, Inc. (AOGRC) TANF Parent Mentoring Program is a program that supports families receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) benefits, primarily focusing on low-income African American and Latino parents. The program helps these parents develop leadership skills, further their education and employment, and become positive role models for their children. A key component is that participating parents volunteer in classrooms to support students and teachers, receive professional development, and can be provided with a stipend after completing a certain number of hours.
