Lutheran Child and Family Services of Illinois' Regenerations program serves multi-system involved youth and provides them with the support their families need to get their lives back on the right track. Program staff work to build relationships and support for the youth, their identified caregivers and their families to transition the youth back to the community, strengthen stability and minimize recidivism. Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) Intact Family Services provides intensive case management and follow-up services to families who have been reported to the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) for any type of neglect and/or abuse of the children. Intact Family Recovery is an intensive, home-based program for children and families dealing with at least one parent who is struggling with substance use and abuse. Family Supportive Services is a home-based, prevention program that provides families with linkage to community resources to address and eliminate issues and concerns that may lead to child abuse or neglect.

Chicago Survivors provides support for family members of victims of homicide through crisis response, case management, counseling, family support, and accompaniment. Family members may be accompanied by a liaison in hospital or medical examiners' office settings. Services are survivor-shaped, trauma-informed, family-centered, and delivered primarily in survivors' homes.
