Offers such as: Low cost Spay/Neuter Assistance to qualified pet owners; Low-Cost Pet Rabies Vaccinations through Lake County veterinarians (All dogs and cats 4 months and older in Lake County are required to be vaccinated against rabies and registered.); and Microchips. Also offers a variety of other services, which include:

• Emergency rescue of injured and sick stray animals
• Interim shelter and care for stray and unwanted animals and transport to adoption centers
• Maintain a lost and found pet database
• Reuniting lost pets with owners
• Investigations are done regarding nuisance complaints, allegations of animal cruelty or neglect, as well as reports of stray, roaming or injured animals; or dangerous, vicious or biting animals
• Present educational programs to schools and community and civic groups
