Offering women health and fitness needs through assisting participants to understand how their lifestyle impacts their physical and mental health and to develop personal practices that enhance their total well-being.

Wellness classes to assist patients diagnosed with cancer, including physical fitness sessions, nutrition counseling, and stress reduction that includes massage, reiki, facials and reflexology.

Classes offered where participants can learn about such topics as disease prevention, managing chronic diseases and cooking and eating healthier meals.

Wellness Education, by appointment only.

Advocacy group made up of community organizations focusing on health and wellness issues. Serves the communities of Zion, Beach Park, and Winthrop Harbor. Organizes monthly public meetings to discuss the following topics: Community Wellness Literacy Substance Abuse Prevention Leadership Academy

Provides mental health support for veterans, active duty, first responders, and their families. Serves as a wellness center and provides the following services:

• Individual and group therapy
• Crisis intervention
• Debriefings
• Annual wellness checks
• Wellness visits (SAFE-T Act)
• Family advocacy and support
• Specialized therapy including EMDR and Biosound

Offers activities for cancer patients to release stress and improve physical functioning. Services include: Movement classes (exercise, yoga, etc.) Relaxation practices (meditation, mindfulness, etc.) Expressive arts (gardening, art therapy, knitting, etc.) Classes available virtually and in-person.

Offers free wellness activities including yoga, meditation, and drumming. Also coordinates group nature walks with certified physicians. Allows participants to learn about various health topics from local doctors ("Walk with a Doc").

Health seminars, group workshops and health screenings to educate youth, adults and seniors on public health issues such as Hepatitis B, cancer, diabetes, arthritis, mental health issues and others.

Erie Neighborhood House offers classes to equip individuals and families with the tools, resources, and knowledge they need to be healthy and achieve well-being through nutrition programs, workshops, public benefits assistance, and more.

Aging Care Connections' Aging Well Neighborhood program brings together older adults, businesses, and healthcare and social services to create a "Health Neighborhood" that promotes life-long wellness, supports aging at home, addresses chronic conditions, offers health education, and helps build an age-friendly community in Greater Lyons Township.

EZRA Multi-Service Center's Healthy Advantage program provides an opportunity for community members to enrich their physical health and well-being through wellness classes, cooking demonstrations, nutrition programs, and health screenings. These services are free and open to the public.
