Services include breast and cervical cancer screenings (through the Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program), tuberculosis screening, STI and HIV testing, and immunizations.

Protects the citizens of Marion County from contracting and transmitting infectious disease. Receives reports of communicable diseases from physicians, laboratories, health care practitioners, schools, and daycare personnel as the disease occurs.
Provides disease surveillance and investigations to determine the source and spread of infectious diseases. This program is to determine the extent of infection and the risk of disease so that measures can be quickly and effectively applied.
Also provides Tuberculosis (TB) testing and treatment.
