Through two major programs, they offer comprehensive support to renters, landlords, homeowners, and anyone dealing with debt challenges. All services are available to Cook County residents regardless of income, language, or immigration status.

Points of investigations and services include: Possible housing discrimination Community legal education Assisting clients to resolve fair housing disputes with housing providers Helping clients with disabilities obtain reasonable accommodations and modifications in housing

Provides free legal services to low-income renters facing housing problems. Offers legal aid for:

• Evictions
• Terminations from subsidized housing
• Conditions/repairs
• Other lease disputes

Program does not represent landlords, homeowners, or assist with fair housing cases.

Brighton Park Neighborhood Council provides rental counseling to tenants and landlords about their rights and responsibilities in addition to establishing goals for healthy financial stability.
