Muslim Women Resource Center (MWRC) is an Illinois Welcoming Center (IWC) and provides the Immigrant Family Resource Program (IFRP) in addition to Immigration Legal Services, SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families), WIC (Women, Infant and Children), ESL (English as Second Language) classes, Citizenship Classes, and other referral and field work services as needed by the community. Onward Neighborhood House- Belmont Craigin provides resources and referrals to free services for immigrants, refugees, and new arrivals, such as community services, access to immigration and legal matters, health, housing and food assistance. The IL Welcoming Center only provides information and referrals to direct services, and can manage your case; however, they are not a shelter.
