Must be low-income youth, ages 16-24 years old, residing in Lake County For the Pre-Apprentice program:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a high school diploma or GED

Offers education and career development for Lake County youth ages 16-24. Participants receive a stipend while earning a high school diploma. Provides college and career readiness training, and the following supportive services:
  • Mental health and substance abuse counseling
  • Food, shelter, and transportation assistance
  • Childcare assistance
  • Legal aid
  • Financial management assistance
Also offers the Pre-Apprenticeship program for young adults who already have a high school diploma. Participants earn a stipend while receiving job training for a career in the construction industry.
