Lutheran Social Services of Illinois, LSSI's Developmental Training Center, is a welcoming and warm environment that fosters personal achievement through interactive, hands-on "active" treatment. The goal is for each client to develop the skills, behaviors, and attitudes essential to living as independently as possible. LSSI's Developmental Training Center offers structured learning, with staff providing positive reinforcement and repetitive practice through real-life interactions.The Developmental Training Center is located on the campus of Shady Oaks in Homer Glen, Illinois.
