Application process
Appointment preferred; Walk-ins accepted; Individuals will be asked to sign a sheet agreeing their household's monthly gross income is within the guidelines established by the Illinois Department of Human Services. Clients will need to provide their own bags or boxes for food. Please call for additional information.

Food For Greater Elgin hosts a client-choice food distribution five times each week and all households can shop once each week. Food delivery is available to seniors who are unable to go out for groceries twice monthly by calling (847) 741-0404.
