Eligibility
The student is an Illinois resident (must provide proof of address). The student is NOT an F-1 visa holder. Students enrolling in the citizenship class must be eligible to become a U.S. citizen within one year (Chinese class only).

Morning classes are Monday to Thursday from 8:00am to 10:00amMid-morning classes are Wednesday and Thursday from 10:30am to 12:00pm.Evening classes are Monday to Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30pm

Pui Tak Center offers ESL, citizenship, and work-related classes for English language learners. Classes are offered via Zoom or in person at 2216 South Wentworth Ave. and 3000 S. Wallace Ave. Six levels of ESL are available. Classes are seven weeks long, and new classes typically start around the beginning of January, March, May, July, September, and November.
