Application process
When you the reporter calls, they should have the alleged victim's demographic information, the alleged abuser's demographic information and the circumstances which lead the reporter to believe the person is being abused. You may be asked to provide your contact information and willing to be contacted again.

The Adult Protective Services Program is locally coordinated through 38 provider agencies designated by the Regional Area Agency on Aging and the Illinois Department on Aging. Case workers from the Adult Protective Services Provider Agencies conduct investigations and work with adults age 60 or older and adults age 18-59 with disabilities in resolving the abuse, neglect, or financial exploitation situation.
