Eligibility
Household resides in Illinois and rents their home as their main/primary residence; Household is in a court eviction proceeding due to nonpayment; Household's total gross income cannot be more than 80% of Area Median Income (AMI) for its location and household size;
Required documents
Government-issued Valid photo ID
Proof of residence in Illinois(dated within 60 days)
Proof of household income
Evidence of past-due rent
Eviction court complaint, summons and court-case number (name must be listed on eviction document)
Current signed lease, if applicable
Proof of public assistance, if applicable.
