Offers reduced fares on public transit to the following groups: Seniors, over the age of 65 People with disabilities, under the age of 65 Veterans with a service-connected disability Medicare card holders Qualified participants will be issued a Reduced Fare Permit to be used on Metra, Pace and CTA transit. Operates throughout the RTA's six-county region (Lake, Cook, DuPage, Kane, McHenry, and Will counties). Note: A Ride Free Program is available to older adults and people with disabilities through the Illinois Department on Aging. To be eligible, individuals must meet age and income requirements.
