Individuals can inquire by calling the Elk Grove Village line directly at (847) 357-4121, the Police Department at (847) 357-4100 (Dial 5 for Social Services), or in-person by presenting themself to the Police Department located at 901 Wellington Avenue. Those seeking help will not face arrest.

Elk Grove Village Cares is an initiative launched in 2018 to encourage those with substance abuse problems to seek and receive proper treatment. Under the initiative, anyone seeking treatment for their addiction or substance abuse disorder can seek it through the Elk Grove Village Police Department. Individuals looking to get on the road to recovery can present themselves at the Elk Grove Village Police Department either in person or via phone. Lack of insurance or the inability to pay for treatment will not disqualify someone from the program.
